The office is staffed with qualified counselors who provide a broad range of services; foster peer connections; coordinate university and community support; provide general and specific information about all benefits available to men and women who are serving or who have serviced in the armed forces and their dependent; report enrollment information to authorize appropriate allowances; and provide other advisory counseling and referral services.
ERAU MyVETS Office Mission Statement:
The role of the MyVETS Office is to serve the educational and training needs of prospective and enrolled service members, veterans, dependents, their survivors, eligible to receive education benefits under various Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) programs. In this role, the MyVETS Office supplements recruitment and retention efforts, provides counseling, program information, and certifies eligible students to receive DVA education benefits while maintaining productive relations with the Veterans Administration and other agencies serving veterans.
