King Engineering and
Technology Center

Spirit and OpportunityDesign suite for autonomous vehicles

Students design autonomous vehicles using control algorithms and hardware ranging from robots to helicopters.

Communications Lab

Students experiment with electronics associated with the design and testing of antennas and communications devices.

Control Theory Lab

Senior students work in teams to complete capstone projects that utilise everything that they have learned during their four years at Embry-Riddle. These two students are currently working on a electonic circuit. Students conduct control experiments associated with coupling control algorithms to physical hardware

Power Lab

Students design, fabricate and test power electronics

Senior Design Suite

A design space for electrical engineering students to design and fabricate their senior capstone project

Freshman Engineering Lab

Freshman Engineers design robots, lighter than air vehicles, and participate in preliminary and critical design reviews. A computer programming and design environment for students to explore multiple engineering disciplines.

In the lab students design robots, lighter than air vehicles, and participate in preliminary and critical design reviews.

Digital Circuits Lab

While in the Linear Circuits Lab, students design, build and test their own linear circuits. By building and testing circuits independently, students gain valuable hands on experience.Freshman students explore digital circuits through design and theory, fabricating devices in the lab.

Linear Circuits Lab

Linear LabStudents learn the fundamentals of operating basic electrical/electronic test equipment while investigating the properties of a wide range of both AC and DC circuits.
