Wireless

Wireless Network User Information Technology provides wireless Internet connectivity on the Prescott campus. Wireless connectivity allows you to access services on the Internet without having to physically connect to an Ethernet port via a network cable. This means that you have the same Internet connectivity that many are accustomed to on the desktop without the restraint of network cables and wall ports.

Nearly every building on campus and on the flight line now have wireless connectivity, including all residence halls, classrooms, and the library.

The wireless network offers a wireless connection with Internet connection speeds up to 11Mbps(approx. 1.371 MBps). Information Technology uses the 2.4 GHz, IEEE 802.11b wireless Ethernet standard for its network. Please be sure that your wireless Ethernet adapter supports this standard.
