Our AircraftFor the power off and short field landing events, the Golden Eagles fly a pair of 1965 Cessna 150’s. Eagle One and Eagle Two are very special to the team. In addition, our 150’s feature 150 horsepower Lycoming IO-320 engines which help takeoffs in the high altitude of the Prescott area. Both aircraft have made multiple cross country trips flying to and from competitions over the years, and we hope for many more. For the navigation event, we use the ERAU Cessna 172S Skyhawks.
