International Student Orientation - schedule subject to change

August 19-21, 2008

Tuesday, August 19 - 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

New international students arrive in Prescott and check into Housing. Unless you have made prior arrangements for an earlier check in, this is the date for new international students to arrive on campus. Check in will be at the Housing Office in Haas Commons. Pizza party in CIPS office (Building 18) at 6:00 pm!!

Wednesday, August 20

Morning - Relax, unpack, set up your room. Muffins and juice in CIPS office at 8:00 am

12:00 noon - Opening Barbeque with ambassadors - Pool Ramada

1:00 pm - International Student Information Meeting. – Room 55A – Passports/Visas/Regulations This is an extremely important meeting! Bring your passport, visa, I-20, and I-94 for copying and to create your international student file.

2:30 pm - Campus Tours with Ambassadors - Get to know your ERAU International Student Ambassadors, the Prescott campus, get your Eagle Card (your student ID), mailbox, visit Admissions, etc.

6:00 pm - Dinner with ERAU Faculty and Staff - Spruance House - For new international students and their parents.

Thursday, August 21

8:00 am - Breakfast - Chartwell's Dining Hall

8:30 am – Meet at the Center for International Programs and Services (CIPS) for Health Services information, immunizations, New Student Orientation, ISA, etc.

9:30 am – TB testing at Health Services – New international students will undergo a TB skin test.

11:00 – 12:00 – Lunch – Chartwells dining hall

12:15 – Tour of downtown; shopping trip for necessities - meet @ CIPS

6:00 pm – Dinner/Wrap up of International Orientation – Chartwells dining hall

Friday, August 22 – BE SURE TO ATTEND NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION EVENTS ALL DAY!!!

CIPS Office will be open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to answer questions, etc.

Saturday, August 25

8:00 am to 11:00 am – ALL students who had a TB test MUST report to Health Services to have it read
