Arrival at ERAU
Travel to the United States:
When entering the United States it is essential that you have the following documents available when passing through immigration (do not pack them in your checked luggage!)
- Your passport – must be valid for at least six months beyond your first entry into the US
- Your currently valid F-1 visa (unless you are a Canadian citizen, which exempts you from this requirement)
- Your financial support documents used to obtain your F-1 visa from the US Consulate in your home country
- Your signed I-20 (make sure you have signed the form at item #11)
Arriving in Phoenix:
Travel to Phoenix is often cheaper than flying directly to Prescott. If you arrive in Phoenix, you will need to arrange transportation to Prescott from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. There are a number of van shuttles that run between Phoenix and Prescott, and I’ve included some contact information for those companies below. If you choose a shuttle service, it is recommended that you purchase a “door-to-door” ticket; the shuttle can then drop you at the ERAU campus when you arrive.
Arriving in Prescott:
You can fly into Prescott on US Airways Express. For information on flights, go to http://www.usairways.com/awa/ -or- http://www.cityofprescott.net/services/airport/
On Campus:
Once on campus go to the ERAU Housing Office, located in Haas Commons. If you have submitted all immunization records, you will be able to check into your room.
