Payment Policy:

The Financial Agreement and Disclosure form should be returned to campus prior to your arrival. This form designates how you will be paying for each semester's charges. Any approved financial aid will be indicated on your invoice as estimated financial aid until it is actually paid. This amount will be applied toward your balance of tuition and fees. Any balance not covered by your estimated financial aid is your responsibility and is due according to published payment deadlines. Note: Student Employment represents potential earnings and is not used to reduce tuition and fees.

Flex Payment Plan:

The Flex Tuition Payment Plan, administered by Sallie Mae Solutions, is a convenient alternative to lump-sum semester payments. As a plan participant, you make up to 12 equal monthly payments beginning February 1st for the following Fall/Spring term. You may use this plan to pay any amount (excluding flight costs and books) up to the total cost of education and may enroll at any time throughout the year. The earlier you sign up, the smaller your payments will be. You can design a plan that specifically meets your needs. A non-refundable $100 annual fee is applicable. Learn more here.

Flight Instruction

In addition to academic credit hour tuition, students will incur costs for their flight training. All course estimates for flight courses are based on minimum course requirements. Because each student will progress based on their own individual flying proficiency during each phase of their training, students are encouraged to budget an additional 20 to 25 percent to account for individual learning times. Annual costs normally range from $11,000 to $15,000.

The University uses a "pay-as-you-go" payment method for all flight instruction. Payment is expected at the completion of each training session.

The following is a description of the flight payment process.

After completing the training session, you will proceed to the Flight Operations Payment station. A flight ticket will be presented to you indicating the type of instruction and the number of hours you just received. Your signature and the instructor's signature will be required to validate this instruction. Charges for that session will be calculated and payment will be collected using your credit card, Eagle Card, or personal check. Your payment will be processed and you will be given a receipt.

If your method of payment cannot be processed for whatever reason, the training session will be charged to your student account. A hold will be placed on your flight account until this transaction is paid. And further instruction, not already scheduled, will be suspended until payment is received. This method will provide flexibility in making payments. If you do not wish to use a credit card or do not have one, Eagle Dollars or checks give you other options. Remember any combination of these payment methods may be used at any time.
