The Aerospace Studies provides the raw materials to design your future as an innovator and a leader. Start with core courses in the humanities, geography, international studies, philosophy, ethics, and psychology. Then select and combine three minors from the classes offered in our other degree programs. Choices include air traffic control, business administration, aviation safety, weather, computer applications, computer-integrated manufacturing, environmental studies, flight, human factors, humanities, logistics, mathematics, communications, psychology, secondary education, and space studies. Global Security and Intelligence Studies
Recent events have made security a serious concern for everyone, and aviation is no exception. The Global Security and Intelligence Studies (GSIS) program prepares students to work in military and federal intelligence, aviation security, corporate intelligence, law enforcement, and legislative work analyzing security issues and drafting bills. Graduates may also choose pre-law studies and eventual specialization in security and intelligence law. GSIS graduates have access to many different career opportunities in security and intelligence. The GSIS program is geared toward developing well-rounded students with the analytical thinking skills needed to succeed in the intelligence and security fields. Graduates walk away with the ability to work in areas such as intelligence analysis, data collection, covert operations, and counterintelligence. |
