Catalog Minor

  1. Declare minor using the Change of Major/Declaration of Minor Form.  Requires only the advisor approval.
  2. Catalog applicability - catalog at matriculation or current catalog.
  3. Policy: Undergraduate Catalog and A-AU-11G
  4. No more than two substitutions (6 hours) are allowed across all catalog minors.
  5. No course may be shared between minors.
  6. Earn at least a 2.00 GPA within the minor.
  7. Catalog minors are listed below:
  • Environmental Studies
  • Security Studies
  • Technology Policy & Management Studies

Designer Minor

  1. Declare minor using Declaration of Minor form.  Requires advisor, department chair or college dean, and the Campus Academic Dean approval.
  2. Complete 15 or more credit hours in related courses (at least 6 of these must be completed in residence).  Earn at least a 2.00 GPA within the minor.
  3. Complete at least 6 hours of upper division credit (at least 3 of these must be completed in residence.
  4. Complete at least 6 credit hours within the discipline that are not specificaly required in the student's degree program.
  5. No substitutions are allowed in the Designer Minor.  If you wish to modify a designer minor, please rewrite it.
  6. No course may be shared between minors.
  7. The title of the minor must come from the approved list of titles below:

  • Airport Management
  • Aviation and the Environment
  • Aviation Security
  • Business Administration
  • Economics
  • Environmental Science
  • Environmental Studies
  • International Management
  • International Relations
  • International Studies
  • Security and Intelligence Studies
