Contact Information
Mission/Charge of the University General Education Committee is to ensure state-of-the art excellence in University general education through:
-
writing a current general education philosophy and mission;
-
recommending which courses are considered to meet degree-specific general education requirements;
-
developing, recommending, and evaluating techniques to integrate general education skills throughout all courses of all degree programs;
-
developing resources such as on-line style manuals to support our students' acquisition of general education skills inside and outside of the classroom;
-
coordinating all assessment activities of general education programs;
-
networking with colleagues at colleges and universities nationally and internationally to stay abreast of latest general educational activities;
-
sharing the process of our program with peers nationally and internationally through presentations and publications.
