The Aeronautical Science Department trains students to become pilots. From their training at Embry-Riddle, students can go on to become many different kinds of pilots, from commercial to cargo. Embry-Riddle, the World's Leader in Aviation and Aerospace Higher Education.

The Department Meteorology teaches students how to predict and understand weather using today's high-tech tools. Students are able to test their progress in the state-of-the-art weather lab, which allows them to actually forcast weather for Prescott. The Department of Safety Science trains students to investigate aviation related accidents. Students are able to take advantage of simulated crash-sites, and archives of federal crash reports.
