Robertson Aviation Safety Center

The Robertson Aviation Safety Center (RASC) houses the Dept. of Safety Science, which includes the Master of Science in Safety Science program. The Chair of the department and graduate faculty have their offices here, as well as the Graduate Admissions Coordinator.

Detail of the Crash Lab at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical universityThe Director of the Crash Laboratory also has an office here. The Crash Laboratory, located just a short distance from the RASC, includes several aircraft accident scenes carefully reconstructed for students' study and analysis.

Other Facilities

Other facilities are described on the Web pages of the Department of Aeronautical Science, the Department of Meteorology, the Department of Safety Science, and the Department of Flight. Some of these facilities include the Airway Science Computer Lab, the Engines Laboratory, the Wind Tunnel, and the many facilities located at the Flight Training Center at the Prescott Airport, two miles from the campus.

 

 

Academic Complex I

Academic Complex One and an Apache Helicopter at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical university. Ground was broken for the complex in April 2003, with completion and occupany occurring in the 2005 Spring semester. The Dean, Associate Dean, as well as most of the College of Aviation faculty have offices in this $10.7M facility. The building also houses several classrooms, the entire Airway Science Computer Lab, and a new Meteorology Lab.
