Facilities

The control tower at the Prescott Airport is a teaching tower, which allows for the training of students to both direct aircraft and communicated effectively with a control tower.


 
ERAU Prescott Campus - Flight Training Center

Overview

The Flight Training Center is located on the Prescott Airport which is about two miles from the ERAU Prescott Campus.

In addition to the many single and multi-engine aircraft on the "Riddle Ramp," there is an Academics building housing numerous classroom facilities. An Administration building houses the following: the offices of the Director of Flight, Flight Dispatch, Flight Planning Rooms, Flight Records, Flight Scheduling, and the FTC telephone operator. 

The two-story "F6" building (partially pictured below left) The F6 building houses all of the flight instruction offices. It also contains the flight standards office, which is responcible for making sure all flight procedures are up to current certification. houses all the flight instructor offices as well as Flight Standards and the offices of the Chief Flight Instructor. 

Finally, there is the Robinson Flight Simulation Center housing several "Level 6" and "Level 5" Flight Training Devices, other FTDs, and numerous faculty and staff offices.

In addition, there are complete aircraft maintenance hangars and aircraft maintenance facilities immediately adjacent to the Administration building.  Both a Federal Control Tower and an Automated Flight Service Station are located within 200 yards of these facilities.
