Laboratories:

Because the Aerospace Engineering Department at the Prescott Campus offers only a bachelor's degree, our laboratories are used solely by the students.  This liberal access to the lab faciltiies is a great advantage for our students.

  • Graphics - The graphics lab is used by first-year students for the introduction to the computer aided design course using CATIA and also for the preliminary and detail design courses.
  • Materials - The materials lab is used to support the Materials Science course, the Composites course, and is often used for student projects.
  • Instrumentation - This lab is used by the students for the Structures and Instrumentation course.
  • Space Lab - The space lab shares facilities with the Structures and Instrumentation lab and supports the Experimental Space Systems Engineering course.
