Degree Programs

The Aerospace Engineering Department on the Prescott Campus only offers undergraduate degree programs.  This ensures that the focus of our faculty is primarily on teaching.

Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering

The Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering is a 4 year program with 134 semester credit hours.  Students have the option of two capstone design sequences - Aircraft Design or Spacecraft Design.  The main courses specific to these sequences are listed below.

Aircraft Design Option - The main courses specific to the Aircraft Design Option are: AE 413, Airplane Stability and Control; AE 420, Aircraft Preliminary Design; AE 421, Aircraft Detail Design.

Spacecraft Design Option - The main courses specific to the Spacecraft Design Option are: AE 320, Experimental Space Systems Engineering; AE 426, Spacecraft Attitude Dynamics and Control; AE 427, Spacecraft Preliminary Design; AE 445, Spacecraft Detail Design; EP 394, Space Systems Engineering.
