The American-Scandinavian Foundation

  • Open to most undergraduate majors
  • Award Range : $5,000 - $23,000
  • Eligible countries: Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Sweden
  • Candidates must be graduate students intending to carry out a research project in Scandinavia
 

Boren NSEP Scholarship

  • Open to most undergraduate majors
  • Award Range : $10,000 -  $20,000
  • Must study in a location and/or language identified  as critical to national security
  • Funded by the National Security Education Program 
 

Bridging Scholarships for Study in Japan

  • Open to all undergraduate majors for semester/year abroad 
  • Award range: $2,500 - $4,000
  • Countries eligible: Japan
  DAAD Undergraduate Scholarship
  • Open to most undergraduate majors
  • Award range: $ 3,700  - $ 8,200
  • Countries eligible: Germany
  DeSIRE Grant  
  • Open to most graduate majors
  • Award amount: $5,000

  • Open to all international students in Japan

  Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Scholarship
  • Open to all undergraduate majors
  • Must have grade point average of 3.5 or higher 
  • Award amount: $1,000
