First of all let us congratulate you on your decision to enrol in an exchange, internship or research program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University!

We realize that at this point you may be full of questions and worries about your upcoming experience. To help you get started, we have prepared a guidebook to answer most of the concerns you are bound to have - from pre-departure considerations to what to expect once you're here.

To get started, please fill out the incoming student application form and the affidavit of financial availability then mail them to your campus' Study Abroad office. Internship and research exchange students will also need to complete the Training / Internship Placement Plan and mail it to their advisor to sign it. You will need this document to apply for your visa at your local US embassy or consulate.

Please note that the University requires students from countries with a main language of instruction other than English to demonstrate language proficiency before being accepted for an exchange program. We require either of the following qualifications as proof:

TOEIC with a minimum score of 750
TOEFL (written) with a minimum score of 550
TOEFL (computer-based) with a minimum score of 79

If you have any more questions, feel free to contact us: we'll be happy to help you out!
