The Physical Sciences Department has several state-of-the-art teaching laboratories in which the students perform experiments in quantum physics, electricity and magnetism, and mechanics.  In addition, the department runs the laboratories for all the introductory physics and chemistry courses.

AGI STK

AGI provides software to more than 30,000 national security and space professionals for integrated analyses of land, sea, air, and space assets. Key applications include: battlespace management, geospatial intelligence initiatives, space operations, and national defense programs. For additional information about AGI or its commercially available software technologies, including its free flagship product STK, e-mail info@agi.com or explore www.agi.com.

For the junior and senior Engineering Physics majors, Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI) has graciously supplied ERAU with the latest version of its Satellite Tool Kit (STK) software suite.  This software allows the user to calculate spacecraft trajectories as well as analyze the motion of solar system bodies.  It is used extensively as part of the EP design projects.

The department's faculty members are engaged in cutting-edge research that is spread out over several research laboratories.  Please see the research page for more information.
