Courses of Freshman Engineering and General EducationFRESHMAN ENGINEERING COURSESStudents entering the Freshman Engineering Program should have demonstrated a competence in mathematics and science. They should be prepared to enter Calculus I, having demonstrated proficiency in algebra and trigonometry. If necessary, students can prepare for entry into the Freshman Engineering Program by taking College Algebra (MA 140) and Trigonometry (MA 142) before taking Calculus and Analytic Geometry I (MA 241).
