Minor Degrees

parts of things

Minor courses of study are academic programs designed to satisfy students' personal interests and to meet their professional needs. Students explore, in some depth, the offerings in a field of study. A minor course of study provides the student with significant experience in a discipline organized around skills, methodology, and subject matter.  These degrees can give the civil engineering graduate an excellent background to apply their engineering degrees in an increasingly competitive environment.

The following minors are available at Daytona Beach campus and complement the civil engineering degree:

  • Aviation Business Administration
  • Computer Applications
  • Computer Science
  • Environmental Studies
  • Information Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Professional Communication
  • Space Studies
