Mission Statement
We aspire to maintain our reputation as an international center of excellence
for professional pilot education. Our programs will produce pilots fully prepared for the technical and intellectual
challenges of 21st century flight. As educators, we will help our students learn to make sound academic and career
choices. To meet the needs of professional aviation organizations, we will stress --
by precept and example -- the development of personal qualities such as maturity,
motivation, leadership, dependability, trustworthiness, and cooperativeness.
As scholars, we will conduct theoretical and practical research designed to advance
the art and science of aviation.
