Meet Our Graduates
I completed ASA training in October and have been line flying since early November. I expect the robust summer schedule to start picking up by May, and I should be able to hold a regular line by then. When flying, I am continually reminded of advice the professors and instructors at Embry-Riddle shared with their students. From turbine engine operation to aircraft performance and regulatory compliance, I frequently hear the voices of the Aeronautical Science faculty echoing in my mind. Truly their instruction provides a solid foundation for a professional flying career.
Andrew Coffman;
First Officer, ASA
Embry-Riddle's Aeronautical Science program provides the best platform to develop a career as a professional aviator. Whether it be military, airline, corporate, etc., the University provides students with unmatched potential in a competitive industry. The faculty is world class. The flight training on campus cannot be beat, and is recognized as the best by virtually every air carrier. The staff in the career services office are dedicated to helping you land an internship or job with the company that you want to work for, and they will. Everyone at campus helped me earn a job with a respected regional airline before I walked across the stage at graduation. Come to Embry-Riddle, and you'll realize that the opportunities are waiting for you.

"Coming to Embry-Riddle is the right choice. The A.S. degree for some people is just a piece of paper; for me, it was a journey that led me through some unbelievable times and instilled the knowledge it takes to make a professional in aviation. The faculty at ERAU is top-notch and is an awesome knowledge base. Learn all you can from them, take your flying seriously, use the career center to get those internships and network, and make the best of your years here. I owe my success to Embry-Riddle because it was this school which helped me get a position at ASA only four months after graduation."
Mike Franks, First Officer, Atlantic Southeast Airlines Graduated December 2005

"ERAU is where I truly grew up. If it takes a village to raise a child, it's the Aeronautical Science Faculty and Staff of Embry-Riddle that raises the professional pilot. The ERAU faculty truly helped mold me into the pilot I am. They provided me with the tools to pave my own way, all I had to do was work hard and apply myself. The various backgrounds, ranging from the F-4 Phantom Instructor, P-3 Submarine Hunter, Marine Corps Harrier pilot, all the way to a professional flight instructor and a retired airline pilot, all offered a superb wealth of intriguing knowledge and experience that no textbook could ever come close to capturing. The ERAU Flight Department is without a doubt THE best offered anywhere in the civilian aviation training world. The training equipment, structure, environment, staff, and facilities enabled me to apply my knowledge, acquire more, exercise my abilities and fine-tune my airmanship, gain valuable experience, and even share it with others as an ERAU Flight Instructor. Almost exactly a year after graduation, there were many times during my initial airline training where I thought to myself, "Man, I'm glad I went to Embry-Riddle, otherwise this would be an even bigger nightmare!" It's not just about a degree. There's a reason why it's called the 'Harvard of the Skies.' " Michael A. Baumann ERAU Class of 2005 Alpha Omicron Alpha CRJ-900 First Officer, MESA Air Group
 Deciding to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is one of best decisions I've ever made. Everything I learned during the past four years has helped me a lot in the transition to flying a jet and during my ground training at the airline. I would like to thank the faculty in the aero sci department and instructors at the flight line for guiding and helping me while I was a student and their respect when I was a fellow instructor. Thank you very much and keep it up.
Laureano Bello-Lorie First Officer CRJ-900 Mesa Airlines Graduated May 2006
 I would like to show my gratitude to the Aeronautical Science Department faculty for all your hard work, dedication, and motivation. Your tireless efforts have made it possible for me and others like myself to build a rock solid foundation on which to build our careers and futures.
The outstanding level of professionalism, knowledge, and understanding that you displayed during my education served as a guiding light for me when I began flight instruction. I believe that much of my success as an instructor, as well as, much of my student's successes can be directly correlated to your efforts.
Thank you again and keep up the good work!
