The following are engineering student societies and organizations at the Daytona
Beach Campus.

AIAA - The American Institute of
Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is to advance the arts, sciences and technology
of aeronautics and astronautics, and to foster and promote the professionalism of
those engaged in these pursuits.

NBSE - The National Society of Black
Engineers (NBSE) is founded to increase the number of culturally responsible
Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact
the community.

SGT - The Sigma Gamma Tau (SGT) national
honor society for Aerospace Engineering seeks to identify and recognize achievement
and excellence in the Aerospace field. Sigma Gamma Tau's collegiate chapters elect
annually to membership those students,
alumni, and professionals who by conscientious attention to their studies or professional
duties uphold this high standard for the betterment of their profession.

SAE - The Society of Automotive Engineers
(SAE) form a network of membership 83,000 strong across the whole world. SAE
members share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of
mobility systems. SAE Student membership is an exciting opportunity to get
involved in the world of engineering while gaining hands-on experience, making new
friends, and networking with professionals in your field.

SWE - The Society of Women
Engineers (SWE) stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers
and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force
in improving the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity.

NSS - The National Space
Society (NSS) is the largest, pro-space, grassroots citizen organization. The
NSS is 23,000 individuals committed to bringing about a spacefaring civilization.
The NSS is organized into more than 75 chapters in the United States and around the
world.
