Four Outstanding Student-Athletes and the 2000 Men’s National Championship Basketball Team Honored

Daytona Beach, Fla., Jan. 30, 2009 -- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will launch its first Athletics Hall of Fame and induct four outstanding student-athletes and the members of its 2000 National Championship-winning men’s basketball team this weekend.

Rob PadgettThe new Hall of Fame, designed by 1157 Design Concepts, will be officially unveiled in the lobby of the Embry-Riddle’s ICI Center and inductees saluted on Friday, Jan. 30, at the Embry-Riddle basketball game against St. Thomas University at 7 p.m. The inaugural Hall of Fame class will be honored at a special invitation-only dinner and ceremony for inductees’ guests, University faculty and staff, and community leaders.
