Embry-Riddle Hosts Summit on Future of Aviation Maintenance

Daytona Beach, Fla., Feb. 24, 2006 -- The Charles Taylor Department of Aviation Maintenance Science at the Daytona Beach, Fla., campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will host a “Future of Aviation Maintenance” Summit May 24-26, 2006.

At the conference, professionals in the aviation maintenance industry will present and analyze their findings on the most pressing issues facing the industry and future technicians. Attendees from the Pittsburgh meetings are cordially invited to attend. Additional industry representatives will participate in this follow-on forum.

Wednesday, May 24, 5-7 p.m.
Welcome reception, Spruance Hall atrium, Embry-Riddle, 600 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Daytona Beach. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Thursday, May 25, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Industry presentations and breakout sessions, College of Aviation, Embry-Riddle. Luncheon: noon to 1 p.m.

Friday, May 26, 8 a.m. to noon.
Committee reports and wrap-up, with action items to be assigned.
