Embry-Riddle Names Dr. James Paul Faculty Chair of the Robins CenterMacon, Ga., May 25, 2006 -- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University announces the appointment of Dr. James Paul as the new Center Faculty Chair of the worldwide center located on Robins Air Force Base, Ga. Dr. Paul, a former Embry-Riddle instructor, joined the Embry-Riddle Robins Center team on April 10, 2006. An accomplished publisher and instructor, he previously taught environmental science, physics, and graduate research courses at the Embry-Riddle Robins Center. “We are pleased to have Dr. Paul’s expertise to rely on as we launch new programs here at the Robins Center,” said Rachel Vigness, Center Director of Operations. “His background in education and research will prove beneficial in his role of faculty development.” His responsibilities will include the oversight of the academic programs offered at the Robins Center. Additionally, Dr. Paul will be responsible for faculty development and for recruiting new instructors to teach courses in management, safety, security and intelligence, supply chain management, logistics, and general education. The Embry-Riddle Robins Center, conveniently located on Robins AFB, offers associate, bachelor, and master degrees in a number of areas, including Professional Aeronautics, Technical Management, and Aeronautical Science. Also offered are various certificate programs in management, safety, security and intelligence, supply chain management, and logistics. The Embry-Riddle Robins Center accepts all forms of financial aid, including military/corporate tuition assistance, federal loans/grants, and the HOPE scholarship.
