Embry-Riddle is best known for its aviation-related programs, but the university also offers a comprehensive technical management degree with a well-rounded curriculum, preparing students to assume a leadership role in an organization. This allows students with technical degrees to move into management positions in their field.

In Washington, the Embry-Riddle Extended Campus is located in Everett, Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, and Whidbey Island.

“This is an excellent opportunity for CPTC students to continue their aviation education or to build on their technical fields,” said Tina Lake, Embry-Riddle’s Tacoma Center director of operations. “By earning a bachelor degree that complements their technical training, students can enhance their marketability and create additional career opportunities.”

“The possibilities this new partnership will create for students at Clover Park will truly benefit their future,” said Dr. Sharon McGavick, CPTC president. “Students will have yet another pathway to advance their education and enter the workforce with enhanced skills leading to successful careers.”

Lucas Holm, who is pursuing a bachelor degree in Professional Aeronautics, had this to say about the Tacoma Center program: “The transition from an associate degree to a bachelor degree was easy. The evening courses accommodate my work schedule, and excellent instructors are helping me to reach my goals in less time.”
