Embry-Riddle Expands into Fayetteville, North Carolina

Daytona Beach, Fla., Dec. 20, 2005 -- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Extended Campus is expanding to meet the growing needs of nontraditional students in the Fayetteville area by opening a new facility at 231 Meed Court, Suite 203, Fayetteville, N.C.

Many of the students who earn degrees at Embry-Riddle’s Extended Campus centers are seeking career advancement in companies such as Technical and Management Services Corp. (TAMSCO), Lear Siegler Services Inc. (LSI), Raytheon, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin. Many others are employed by airlines, airports, and the U.S. military.

To meet the educational needs of working adults, course schedules are flexible, with most classes meeting just one evening per week. The faculty consists of working professionals who specialize in teaching adults. The center is state approved for veterans’ training, with financial aid and tuition assistance available to qualifying students.

The Fayetteville Center offers degrees in Professional Aeronautics, Technical Management, and Technical Management with a Logistics Specialty.

To assist students in their career needs, Embry-Riddle’s Career Services office provides students and graduates with information and services helpful in the employment search process.

Classes at the new site will begin Jan. 7, 2006. Prospective students and faculty may contact the Fayetteville Center for additional information:
