The Expo, sponsored by Embry-Riddle’s Career Services Office, is free and open to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, and Thursday, Oct. 27, in the university’s ICI Center, 600 S. The Expo will be held during Homecoming Week, which culminates in Embry-Riddle’s Florida SkyFest airshow Oct. 29-30. “I’m extremely pleased with the planning progress of the 2005 Industry/Career Expos at Embry-Riddle,” said Lisa Scott Kollar, university director of Career Services. “We will have one of the strongest turnouts at our residential campuses since 2000, but what’s even more exciting is the quality of the companies seeking our graduates. There will be lots of opportunities in the area of co-ops, internships, and full-time jobs for students and alumni.” Jobseekers may explore careers and interview with employers from across the nation, including Aviall, Boeing, Gulfstream Aerospace, NetJets, United States Aviation Underwriters, and UPS. Airlines, such as ATA, Colgan, JetBlue, and Southwest, will also be represented. Local exhibitors include AFLAC, Air-Sur, Phoenix East Aviation, Pilot Provider, and SMART. Exhibit spaces are still available. For more information on the Expo, or for exhibitor registration, contact Adriana Hall in Career Services at (386) 226-7018 or luz.hall@erau.edu.
