Major Employers Scheduled for Embry-Riddle Industry/Career Expos

Daytona Beach, Fla., July 1, 2004 -- More than 100 employers in aviation/aerospace, business, engineering, and high-technology are expected to be on hand to talk with jobseekers at the 2004-2005 Industry/Career Expos at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's two residential campuses.

The first Expo will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, and Thursday, Nov. 4, in the ICI Center at the university's Daytona Beach campus, 600 S. Clyde Morris Blvd.

The second Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, in the Activity Center at the university's Prescott, Ariz., campus, 3700 Willow Creek Road.

Sponsored by Embry-Riddle's Career Services Office, the Expos are free and open to the public.

At the events, jobseekers may explore careers and interview with employers from across the nation, including Air-Sur, EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company), FedEx Ground, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon. Many airlines, such as ATA, Southwest, and TAB Express, will also be represented.
