Embry-Riddle to Dedicate Fieldhouse as ICI Center to Honor Contribution by Alumnus Mori Hosseini
Daytona Beach, Fla., May 29, 2002 -- Embry-Riddle
will dedicate the fieldhouse on its Daytona Beach, Fla.,
campus as the ICI Center in appreciation of a generous
contribution to the university by Mori Hosseini, president
and CEO of ICI Homes and one of the university's most
dedicated alumni.
A ceremony to unveil the building's new exterior signage
and a reception in honor of Hosseini will be held for
invited guests Thursday evening, June 6, 2002, at the
ICI Center.
"Embry-Riddle is my university, and I feel strongly about
giving back to it for all it has done for me," says Hosseini,
whose undisclosed gift is to be used for the university's
highest priorities. "I encourage my fellow alumni to join
me in supporting the world's leader in aviation and aerospace
higher education."
Hosseini graduated from Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach
campus in 1980 with a B.S. in aeronautical studies and
an MBA. Prior to that he studied at the Chelsea College
of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering in London,
England, where he received a B.S. in aeronautical engineering.
Hosseini also holds a private pilot license.
