Major Employers Scheduled for Embry-Riddle Industry/Career Expo


Daytona Beach, Fla., Oct. 8, 2002 -- More than 50 employers in aviation/aerospace, business, engineering, and high-technology will be on hand to talk to jobseekers at the 2002 Industry/Career Expo at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

The expo, which is sponsored by Embry-Riddle's Career Services Office, is free and open to the public and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, and Thursday, Nov. 7, in the university's ICI Center.

Jobseekers may explore careers and interview with employers from across the nation, including Boeing, Bausch & Lomb, Lockheed Martin, United States Aviation Underwriters, and United Space Alliance. Many airlines, such as American Trans Air, Delta, Southwest, and Spirit, will also be represented.

Local exhibitors include Air-Sur, Northrop Grumman, Phoenix East Aviation, Rollins College, and Wrightway Aviation Center.
