Current Events
Young Artists Contest
The University Archives is pleased to exhibit artwork from the Young Artists Contest sponsored by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) an International Air Sports Federation. The FAI has sponsored this international Art Contest for youngsters between the ages of 6 and 17 for the past 20 years. The National Aero Clubs of the Federation Sponsor Local Contest with the winners moving forward for international judging and honors.
University Archives Exhibit
The University Archives is exhibiting a select group of significant artifacts and papers from its vast collections representative of the long history of Embry-Riddle
The Archives portable exhibit has recently been moved and is currently on display in the Jack R. Hunt library.
Transoceanic Navigation Exhibit
The University Archivesin partnership with the Organization of Retired Professional Navigators has developed an exhibit on Transoceanic Navigation. This exhibit, along with an interactive computer kiosk, can be viewed on the third floor of the atrium in the Aviation Building.
Prescott Campus Heritage Exhibit
The Archives in partnership with the Prescott campus library has developed an exhibit featuring the heritage of the Prescott Campus. This permanent exhibit opened during Octoberwest and AirFair 2004 in Prescott and can now be viewed in the Prescott campus library. Special thanks are due to Linda Eisner, curator of the Prescott campus library Kalusa collection, for ongoing development of this exhibit.
