Aid for International Students

Most international students (non-U.S.citizens who enter the United States with either a F-1 or J-1 Student Visa and who will return to their home country upon completion of their studies) are not eligible for the student loan, grant, and work study programs offered by the United States federal government.

Although financial assistance for international students is limited, resources are available for helping meet educational expenses. The comprehensive Web site www.edupass.org/ answers many questions about attending school in the United States and includes a scholarship search for awards, sponsors, and bursaries.
