Federal Family Education Loan Program

The Embry-Riddle Financial Aid Offices are pleased to announce the following changes effective for the Fall 2004 semester and beyond. The University will transition out of the Federal Direct Lending program and will offer all Federal Stafford, Federal PLUS (Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students), and Graduate PLUS loans through the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP).

The Federal Family Education Loan Program provides substantial borrower benefits while simultaneously streamlining delivery of funds to you in a timely and efficient manner. Embry-Riddle has selected lenders that are recognized nationally for their excellent service levels and streamlined funds delivery processes.

Whether you're starting school or starting your career, it's your responsibility to know the facts.
When you choose to borrow money to pursue your education, you are making a big decision and a big commitment to paying the loan funds back.

It is important to know exactly what that commitment is all about. After all, borrowing for your education can be a good decision, but it comes with responsibilities.

This portion of the Web site will help you understand your rights and responsibilities. Please choose from one of the following links for information on the FFEL Program and instructions on how to apply for a loan.
