Emergency Information and Procedures
Advisories will be provided for the University community via:
- The University emergency hotline
- The University emergency hotline number, 866/ 799-3728 (799-ERAU) provides real-time information on emergency closings or evacuations of either campus in the event of hurricanes, forest fire, or other major emergency. When no emergency exists it will contain information and contact numbers for the two residential campuses and Worldwide. This hotline will be kept updated regularly to provide accurate information.

- E-mail Updates
- E-mail updates will be sent to everyone with a University email address. The subject line will reflect the degree of urgency.
- ERNIE
- Log into ERNIE. An announcement will be at the top of the page.
- The campus voice mail systems.

Notification of class cancellations, office closings, evacuations, the resumption of normal operations, etc., will be disseminated using the above methods of communication.
