Worldwide - Undergraduate - Honor Society


Alpha Sigma Lambda’s purpose is to recognize the achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence whilst facing the competing interests of home and work.

  • Alpha Sigma Lambda (ASL) is the Premier National Honor Society for nontraditional students.
  • ASL is an Honor Society created exclusively for Undergraduate Students. 
  • The ASL Honor Society serves as an inspiration for a students continued academic growth.
  • ASL is the oldest and largest most prestigious chapter-based honor society.
  • ASL has over 300 chapters throughout the United States. 
  • ASL partners with universities to celebrate scholarship and leadership of adult students in higher education. 
  • ERAU-Worldwide is home of the Nu Kappa Chapter of the ASL National Honor Society.
  • ASL Honor Society welcomes both full-time and part-time students for membership.

ASL Membership Benefits:

  • Qualify for invitation only to annual Nu Kappa Scholarship Drive

Students interested in becoming members of the Embry-Riddle Nu Kappa Chapter, must have a:

  • Minimum grade point average 3.85
  • Minimum of 24 ERAU credits

To apply for membership, download the application. 

  • Submit the application to ERAU-Worldwide Student and Technology Services.
  • Applications are reviewed to verify that minimum student requirements are met.
  • A one-time $30.00 application fee must be submitted with your application.
