WHAT: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University 's Extended Campus celebrated the opening of the new Memphis Center .

WHO: Proclamation was given by Bobby White, District Director for Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. Shelby County Mayor AC Wharton cut the ribbon along with Embry-Riddle Extended Campus management staff from Daytona Beach, Florida and Tresa Street, Memphis Center Director of Operations.
WHY: This latest Extended Campus expansion will serve the needs of the Memphis area aviation/aerospace workforce.
DESCRIPTION: The Memphis Center offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Professional Aeronautics and Technical Management, a Master's degree in Technical Management, Aeronautical Science, and a Master of Science in Management. To accommodate working adults, course schedules are flexible with most classes meeting just one night per week. The faculty consists of industry professionals who specialize in teaching adults. The center is approved for veteran educational benefits and financial aid. Tuition assistance is available to those who qualify.
