Types of Aid

Embry-Riddle participates in a variety of award programs that are offered through federal, state, institutional, and private sources.

Federal Programs

There are several federal programs available for U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are enrolled at least half-time in a degree program, making satisfactory academic progress, and not in default or owing a return repayment on a grant or loan. The following programs are available to eligible Embry-Riddle students:

  • Federal Pell Grant
  • Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
  • National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant (SMART)
  • Federal Family Education Stafford Loan Program (subsidized and unsubsidized)
  • Federal Family Education Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)
  • Federal Graduate PLUS Loan
  • Federal Veterans Educational Benefits

Federal Family Loan Education Program

The Federal Family Education Loan Program provides substantial borrower benefits while simultaneously streamlining delivery of funds to you in a timely and efficient manner. Embry-Riddle has selected lenders that are recognized nationally for their excellent service levels and streamlined funds delivery processes.
