Applying For Federal Aid

To be considered for financial aid, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the FAFSA website. FAFSA application needs to be filled out every year. This application will determine your eligibility for federal aid.

When filing electronically, you'll need to refer to several items:

  • Social Security card
  • Driver's license
  • W-2 forms or other records of income
View the entire list of documents you will need before beginning.

One of the final steps in completing the FAFSA is supplying Embry-Riddle's federal school code. Our school code is 001479.

Once we receive your information, we will prepare an award letter that outlines the aid programs for which you are eligible. Plan on having sufficient funds available for books, supplies, and any other personal expenses during the first two weeks of classes in the event there is delay in crediting your financial aid. Your student accounting information will be available once you're an accepted student.

To view the information, login to ERNIE and access Account Statement under Colleague Student Services.
