Online Adjunct Instructor

If you are looking for an opportunity to use your education and experience that is both challenging and rewarding, flexible and well-supported, at a University that is committed to the latest instructional techniques and technology, then an adjunct position at ERAU Worldwide Online may be just what you’re seeking. We are currently reviewing faculty candidates for the following programs:

  • Master of Science in Management
  • Master of Science in Project Management
  • Bachelor of Science in Technical Management - Logistics
  • Specific courses in English, History, Economics, Security, and Mathematics

Preference will be given to faculty candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  1. Terminal degree in the field
  2. Verifiable professional experience in the subject
  3. Experience in online instruction
  4. Experience or familiarity with the aerospace industry

New faculty candidates will be required to complete the following online training courses:

  • FACD 700/700L – Instructional Use of Blackboard (with Lab).
    This is a five-week introductory course for all prospective instructors at ERAU’s Worldwide teaching centers, for Worldwide-Online or both. The course covers the features of ERAU’s course management system and their instructional use, including best practices.

  • FACD 701 – Teaching at Embry-Riddle Worldwide.
    This is a five-week introductory course for all prospective instructors at ERAU’s Worldwide teaching centers, for Worldwide-Online or both. The course covers the responsibilities of new ERAU instructors, best practices for course preparation and course delivery, and provides perspective for teaching in aerospace and military environments.

  • FACD 702 – Supporting Online Learners.
    This is a seven-week introductory course for all prospective instructors for Worldwide-Online. It also has application for any ERAU instructor using a blended format. The course covers best practices in online learning, student-centered approaches to teaching, and instructional applications of web-based tools for collaboration.
