Graduate Course Schedule:
This schedule is subject to change. Last updated on 02/02/09.

At the Graduate level, the length of online courses varies from 5, 9, 12, to 15 week formats. Since the graduate course lengths vary, so do their start and end dates. (Note: Courses offered in the 5 week format are one credit Business Foundation courses.)

The 5, 12, and 15 week terms commence on the 7th day of every other month, beginning in January and ending in May 2009. August 2009 begins the start of the 5 terms per year. These term start and end dates vary. Be sure to watch the schedule. The registration deadline for is 14 days prior to the start of a term.

The Graduate ASCI courses converted from 15 week to 12 week terms are indicated by a single asterisk (*) in front of the alphanumeric course code. Most MGMT courses are in the 12 week format.

Beginning in January 2009, all graduate courses (ASCI, GCPP, LGMT, and MGMT) are entering a transition period. They will all be converted to the 9 week format over time (this will be a gradual process). A double asterisk (**) in front of the alphanumeric course code indicates courses converted to the 9 week format. The start dates for these terms will vary.

Graduate students are strongly encouraged to plan their courses in advance to ensure completing their degree or certificate within seven years. .

The Master Course Schedule displays the courses in the following order:

  • 15 week format – consists mainly of ASCI courses and the GCPP course. Any ASCI converted to other term lengths will have a single or a double asterisk (*) in front of the alphanumeric course code. A single asterisk indicates a 12 week conversion and a double asterisk indicates a 9 week conversion.
  • 12 week format – This section contains the ASCI, LGMT, and MGMT courses. Any courses converted to the 9 week format will have a double asterisk (**) in front of the alphanumeric course code.
  • 9 week format – All graduate courses converted to the 9 week course length are in this section. All new courses developed will be in the 9 week format, specifically, MBAA and PMGT courses.
  • 5 week format – The MGMT 503 Business Foundation courses are located toward the bottom of the schedule. (These courses are foundation courses are for students that do not meet prerequisite knowledge.)
  • The Capstone Project courses are at the bottom of the schedule. It is up to the student’s campus or advisor to arrange registration for these courses.
