Graduation Ceremony 2006

handing a student a diploma

Congratulations! You have completed a long journey and it is time to be recognized for your accomplishment. This page will provide details on ERAU's graduation ceremonies that will be conducted in 2006. As an Extended Campus student you can participate in both the residential campus and the Center ceremonies. Additional information will be posted here in the near future.

Residential Campuses

Embry-Riddle conducts graduation ceremonies at the Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, campuses in May and December. Extended Campus students are welcome to participate at either location.

Students must submit an Application for Graduation no later than February 1 for the May ceremony or October 1 for the December ceremony. Contact the Center for an application.  Visit the Web site for each campus and find the Academic Calendar for ceremony dates.

Extended Campus

All Extended Campus students are encouraged to attend a local ceremony. The Center ceremony for 2006 will be conducted on June 10, 2 pm Eastern Standard Time at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis.

4/10/06 Change! On April 1, 2006 the city of Indianapolis adopted Day Light Saving time. The graduation ceremony was previously scheduled for 2 pm Central Standard Time will now be conducted on June 10 at 2 pm Eastern Standard Time. Please make note of this important time change.

5/4/06 Change! The Yahoo! Map posted on this page last month was wrong. The maps below are correct. Several War Memorials are located downtown Indianapolis. The original map at this site and the maps given to some students provided driving instructions to the Soldier and Sailors War Memorial. This is wrong! The ceremony will be conducted at 50 East Michigan Street. The ceremony building is called the Indiana War Memorial. A picture of the correct building can be found at http://www.in.gov/iwm/warmemorial/iwm_exterior.html. The correct building is also shown in the Indiana War Memorial link above. Sorry for the confusion!

This will be a joint ceremony for students completing degree programs at Centers located in Cincinnati, Dayton, Indianapolis, and Louisville. The deadline to submit an Application for Graduation to attend the Indianapolis ceremony is April 14, 2006.
