Occupational Safety & Health (Certificate of Completion)
There is a projected strong demand for persons entering the Occupational Safety and Health profession. Safety professionals find challenging positions in industrial plants; factories; insurance; construction; commerce; and federal, state and local government.
This Certificate of Completion is designed for professionals with or without an advanced degree who wish to increase their knowledge and skills in the field of occupational safety and health. Persons who wish to enter the safety and health career field can also benefit from the knowledge presented. A variety of coursework allows students to tailor their study to meet individual needs.
Four courses are required and students select two additional courses for a total of 18 credits hours in the safety and health field. The University has approved a Master Certificate of Completion in Occupational Safety and Health for those students who complete a specified series of graduate safety courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
