ERAU
ADVANTAGE

The B.S. in Technical Management degree program at ERAU offers eight majors within a curriculum that is strategically focused for industry opportunities across many disciplines. Depending on which major you choose, you’ll learn subject matter that’s relevant to your industry.

Not only can you choose a specialized major, BSTM students can add a second major in the program — or a minor inside or outside the College of Business — and still complete their degree within 120 credit hours. The BSTM is the only program at Embry-Riddle in which students have that flexibility without having to exceed the degree credit limit. This saves time and money for those students who are looking to tailor their educational experience!

Well-qualified students planning to seek a master's degree can also save time and money by enrolling in a 4+1 Program. Those in the 4+1 program begin work toward an M.S. in Management, Management Information Systems, or Information Security & Assurance while still working on a B.S., reducing master's requirements by three courses and allowing for both degrees to be earned in just five years.

Students can also reduce credit requirements for their bachelor's degree by up to 12 hours by earning transfer credit from another educational institution or work experience.

BSTM courses, faculty, and the program as a whole are vetted by some of the most reputable accrediting agencies around. The BSTM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), courses within the program are accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and security courses are accredited by the National Security Agency (NSA).

Program professors in the Department of Management & Technology are internationally recognized practitioners in their field and bring both hands-on experience and academic expertise.

Through your Technical Management courses, you’ll get plenty of opportunities to participate in research and development projects and group activities. Students also enjoy sharing personal experiences related to their Technical Management coursework.

And with our online educational opportunities and 150-plus Worldwide locations, students have the flexibility to learn at a campus near them or even in their own home.
