- Aerospace electronics are critical to every aircraft or spacecraft. The rapid evolution of navigation, communications, and surveillance systems found in aerospace vehicles demands a curriculum with advanced courses in electronic circuits, microcomputers, and electronic communications. You'll also examine integrated logistics support and aerospace electronics systems design concepts. Classroom theories are applied to current hardware, and analytical testing and performance analysis is carried out in several well-equipped electronics and avionics laboratories.

- The Aerospace Engineering program at Embry-Riddle is the largest in the United States and is recognized as the nation's premier program by U.S. News and World Report. The curriculum provides you with specific aerospace design skills and a broad exposure to theory, modern analysis, measurement, and communications and computational techniques essential to the profession. The ABET-accredited curriculum focuses on vehicle design for air, space, land, or water. Before graduating from the program, you'll be able to combine scientific theory with practical application and be capable of applying economic analysis to the completion of a vehicle design project. Embry-Riddle is the first university in the nation to have students work with a revolutionary stereolithography laser-modeling process. Within hours, students can create 3-D composite plastic models using CAD (computer-aided design) instructions. This enables them to mold their prototype, test it, and fly it in our wind and smoke tunnels.

Master of Business Administration 5-year Accelerated Program - OFFERED AT: Daytona Beach
- The five-year program options allow exceptional students to complete a baccalaureate degree (B.S.) in Aerospace Studies and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). The objective of this five-year degree is to provide the opportunity for students to build a well-rounded undergraduate education and then further prepare themselves as professional managers in the aviation/aerospace industry. The Aerospace Studies program provides the raw materials to design your future as an innovator and a leader. Start with core courses in the humanities, geography, international studies, philosophy, ethics, and psychology. The Business Administration minor must be selected as one of the three minor fields of study to prepare the student for this degree option.
- Air Traffic Management

- The Aviation Business Administration program is designed to prepare students for key staff, operational, and executive positions in the various segments of civilian and military aviation or the business community. The associate degree requires 60 credit hours; students who choose this option can pursue entry-level jobs or continue their studies to earn the bachelor degree (120 credit hours).

- The Aviation Environmental Science program gives students the knowledge and technical skills needed to tackle the environmental and safety problems found in the aviation and aerospace industry. The AES degree features two areas of concentration: applied environmental science and environmental management. Graduates of this unique environmental degree program will guide industry clients in becoming environmentally aware and compliant and advise businesses and local government agencies on crucial environmental issues.

- AS/BS in Aviation Maintenance Science

- Demand for the aircraft maintenance professional has never been stronger and the horizon continues to be very bright with opportunities. The Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is a fundamental part of the degree plans for both the Associate of Science (AS) and the Bachelor of Science (BS) programs. The A&P portion of the degree plan is a sixteen month program after which students may continue their studies toward the AS or BS degree. Students that have acquired the FAA A&P certificate prior to attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will receive credit toward the Aviation Maintenance Science degree. The Associates degree in Aviation Maintenance Science is composed of 66 credit hours, 48 of these for the Airframe and Powerplant technical coursework and 18 for the general education coursework. The Bachelors degree in Aviation Maintenance Science is composed of 120 to 138 credit hours, depending on the Area of Concentration taken and the options chosen. Areas of Concentration include Maintenance Management, Aerospace Electronics, or Flight.

- Spacecraft engineering and space physics constitute the theme of this engineering program and are the focus in junior- and senior-level courses and the capstone space systems design project. Opportunities exist for students to actively participate in the department's research activities in space systems engineering and space science. Because of the strong emphasis on fundamentals, the EP program provides an excellent stepping stone into the space program.
