Gail Cullum, Director


Ms. Cullum is an Assistant Professor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU). She teaches dual enrollment college courses at St. Augustine High School as part of the St. Johns County Aerospace Academy, including ERAU;s Introduction to Engineering and Introduction to Space Flight. She is also the Aerospace Academy's Director and an annual instructor for summer Aerospace and STEM Camps for middle school students.

She has both a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida. Prior to going to work for ERAU in 2006, she worked for twenty-three years in the Aerospace Industry (Pratt & Whitney and MSNW, Inc.) developing advanced materials for gas turbine engines for military aircraft.

Ms. Cullum was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. In addition to being passionate about imparting exciting, fun and rigorous STEM education to her students, she is also a lifelong horseback rider and has lived on an organic farm for twenty years.
