Legacy Walk
What's Inside:
Work continues on the Legacy Walk, a 680' long by 30' wide promenade punctuated by 30 temporary 14'x14' wide brick squares. Each brick area offers a donor opportunity for the gift of a 4' x 4' bronze plaque surround depicting a major event in the history of aviation -- from the mythological first flight by the Greek father and son, Daedalus and Icarus, to the most recent satellite trip to the moon. As students, faculty, staff, and visitors walk to the Flight Line, they are visually and intellectually enriched by the vision and story of "flight."
