Aviation Discovery for Women

July 5 to July 18

Flight instructor, left, shows wing sturcture to student pilot In a male-dominated industry, this program is a first step for young women to be on the leading edge of the aviation careers of tomorrow. As the women pioneers of the past have shown, the sky is the limit.

Aviation Discovery for Women encourages young women, ages 15-18, to explore their interest in aviation and aerospace. Explore fields such as Flight, Maintenance Technology, Air Traffic Control, Engineering, Meteorology, and Space with industry professionals in a learning environment.

Tuition is $3600 and includes supervised housing, on-campus meals, classroom instruction, books, materials, and field trips. Advanced Registration discount of $200 is applied to all complete application packets received by April 10, 2009.
