Dean of Students Office

Welcome to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Our staff is here to provide students support, from student services and involvement to personal crisis management. In addition, there are 8 departments overseen by our office that are ready to help students with their campus affairs and provide opportunities to help students choose to make their college years the best experience possible.

Student Services

Services offered by the Dean of Students Office include:

  • Resource for conflict and dispute resolution.
  • Advocacy and representation.
  • Referral to appropriate campus agencies such as Financial Aid, Student

Accounting, Records and Registration, and Academic Deans just to name a few departments.

Honor Code

Whether inside the classroom or out in the community, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University expects a high level of moral and academic integrity from every student. The Dean of Students, Housing, Campus Safety and the Student Government Association (SGA) staff administer the judicial process when it is found that a student is not adhering to campus guidelines and is a threat to themselves or the Embry-Riddle community. Personal Crisis Management

  • FERPA - The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.
  • Directory Information:
  • Unless otherwise requested in writing to the Office of Records and Registration by the student, directory information (which includes a student's name, address, telephone number, ERAU e-mail address, date and place of birth, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of athletic team members, dates of attendance, field of study, degrees and awards, individual photographs , and educational institutions attended) may be released without the student's consent. Before sharing any other information, we must have a FERPA form signed by the student.

  • Background Investigations:
  • The Dean of Students Office is a resource for background investigations for security clearance by Federal Agencies and for employment references.
